Receiving reports and alerts
The value of measurement depends on how regularly you look at it. A report that arrives on its own helps more than a dashboard you have to remember to open.
In short
Pulsar sends a periodic report by email and alerts you on a traffic drop, a new tracker or a volume overage. Each message is configured independently.
The periodic report
It summarises the period's volume and its trend, site by site. Its frequency is set from your profile: weekly, monthly, or off.
It is sent in each recipient's language, not in the account's.
The alerts
- Traffic drop. Triggered when a day's volume departs sharply from comparable days. Useful for spotting an outage or a script removed by mistake.
- New tracker. Triggered when the compliance scan finds a tracker that was absent last time.
- Volume. Warns you as you approach your plan, then on overage.
Unsubscribing
Every optional email carries an unsubscribe link that works without signing in. Emails essential to the service, such as billing or security, carry none and cannot be turned off.
