Understanding your volume and your invoice

Volume is the only thing that determines your invoice. Neither the number of pages, nor the number of users.

In short

Your plan includes a number of measured visits per month, across all sites. Beyond that, extra visits are billed in blocks, except on the free plan where measurement is suspended.

What counts, and what does not

Volume adds up the page views of all your sites over the calendar month. Events do not count, visitors do not either.

  • Visits excluded by an exclusion rule do not count.
  • Identified bots do not count.
  • Data imported from Google Analytics does not count: it is historical.

On overage

On a paid plan, overage is billed in blocks, and you are warned before you get there. Measurement continues: losing your data because a month went well would be a fault.

On the free plan there is nothing to bill: access is suspended until a plan change. Collection, however, continues in the background, and you recover the full history by moving up.

Changing plan

Moving up applies immediately, pro rata. Moving down applies at the term: the current month was paid at the higher volume, and it remains yours.
